For many print businesses, demand is not always predictable. Some weeks your printers run constantly, other times you need extra capacity for larger orders, new customers, or seasonal spikes.
Resolute Trade Print is designed to give you reliable backup production without the cost of additional equipment or staff. If you purchased an R-Jet system with either a warranty or service plan directly from Resolute, you can access our in-house production using the same professional equipment we supply to our customers.
Below are some of the most common questions we receive about the service.
What is the Resolute Trade Print Service?
Resolute Trade Print is an in-house production service that allows customers with a warranty or service plan to outsource transfer printing when needed.
It is ideal when:
You are at capacity and need additional production
Don’t turn down that big job that would slow down your bread & butter work, send it to us and still make a healthy margin
Just in case your printer has an issue we continue your production
You want to scale temporarily without purchasing another printer
You want to fulfil short run jobs efficiently
Test the market by using the other print processes we offer like DTF UV, before committing to your own printer
All work is produced using the same Resolute R-Jet DTF systems used by our customers, ensuring consistent quality.
Who can access Trade Print?
Trade Print is available exclusively to Resolute customers.
Previously the service was limited to initial warranty status or Gold Service Agreement members, but this has now changed.
Trade Print is now included with every Resolute service agreement level.
This means customers on any support plan can access the service whenever additional production is required. Only customers who don't have an active warranty or service plan can't access the service.
Can I only order DTF transfers if I own a specific DTF printer?
No. This is a common misunderstanding.
Customers who have purchased any DTF system from Resolute can still use our UV DTF Trade Print service as well.
Many businesses use both services depending on the product they are producing.
For example:
DTF Trade Print for garment transfers
UV DTF Trade Print for hard surfaces such as bottles, packaging, signage, and promotional items
Your equipment purchase does not limit the type of trade print you can order.

What are the artwork requirements?
Submitting artwork correctly helps us process orders faster and avoids unnecessary delays.
Please ensure:
Artwork is set to the correct size
If the design is 3cm wide, the artboard should also be close to 3cm. Avoid placing a small design inside a large artboard such as A4, as this requires additional cropping before production.
Artwork resolution is at least 300dpi
High resolution files ensure sharp, professional transfers. Lower resolution artwork may result in visible pixelation.
Providing print ready files helps us maintain fast turnaround times for all customers.

Should I submit gang sheets?
It is best not to submit gang sheets.
Instead, upload individual artwork files for each design.
This allows our production team to create the most efficient spreads during printing and helps reduce preparation time. Don’t forget, we can cut your transfers out to speed things up once you receive them, this is not possible if you provide a pre-made gang sheet layout.
Can I request a quote before placing an order?
Yes.
If you would like an estimate before committing to a job, simply:
Submit the job through the normal order process
Leave a note stating that you are requesting a quote only
Our team will review the files and provide pricing before production begins.

Do large jobs require samples?
For larger orders, we may recommend producing and shipping a sample transfer first.
This allows you to:
Confirm colours and sizing
Test application
Ensure the transfer meets your expectations
Sampling helps avoid costly mistakes on high volume orders.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes, 1 metre is all you need to order.
Trade Print is designed to support businesses of all sizes, whether you need a small run or larger production support.
How fast is turnaround?
Turnaround times can vary depending on demand and order size, but we aim to keep production moving quickly so you can deliver to your own customers without delays.
Because the service is built specifically for Resolute customers, it operates with priority production in mind.

Why do businesses use Trade Print even when they own printers?
Many experienced print businesses regularly use our trade print services, even when they have production equipment.
Common reasons include:
Handling peak demand
Outsourcing complex or high-volume jobs
Reducing overtime during busy periods
Maintaining delivery times when machines need maintenance
Cover during peak holiday periods
It is simply another tool to help your business scale.
How do I place a Trade Print order?
Orders are placed directly through your Club Resolute account.
If you are not yet registered, the Resolute team can assist you with access and account setup.
