What is ULTRA DTF™?

Our groundbreaking Ultra DTF™ technology revolutionises garment decoration. This innovative process, achieved through multilayer jetting enabled by advanced software, specially designed mesh film coatings, and sublimation-blocking powder, overcomes the limitations of traditional methods. It produces vibrant, durable, transfers, ideal for sportswear and custom apparel. The Ultra DTF™ process is available on the R-Jet PRO DTF V8i, all V8’s supplied after December 2024 are Ultra ready. The V8i produces 20 to 30m an hour, these production speeds will decrease slightly when producing stripe-blocking transfers. The unique powder that reacts with the mesh film coating does not work with regular DTF film.

The Ultra DTF™ process utilises a unique combination of advanced technologies:

Multilayer Jetting: Our printers employ a sophisticated multilayer jetting technique, depositing multiple layers of ink to achieve the desired opacity and vibrancy.

Specialised Film Coatings: A specially designed mesh film coating interacts with the unique Ultra DTF™ adhesive powder, creating a robust barrier against colour bleeding and stripes.

Implementation:

Printer Compatibility: The Ultra DTF™ process can be implemented on R-JET PRO V8 printers purchased in or after January 2025.

Production Speeds:
- Standard Transfers: V8 printers can produce standard DTF transfers at speeds of up to 20-30 meters per hour.
- Ultra DTF™ Transfers: When producing stripe-blocking transfers, production speeds may decrease slightly due to the increased complexity of the jetting process.

Exclusive Powder: The unique sublimation-blocking powder is exclusively available to Ultra DTF™ owners, further enhancing the exclusivity and performance of this innovative technology.
