• Switch off, cool, and fully depressurise the heat press before fitting or removing the platen.

• Ensure the platen is securely installed before operating the machine.

• Position both sleeves carefully and check that they are flat, evenly aligned, and free from folds.

• Keep the main body of the garment clear of the pressing area where possible.

• Check that seams, cuffs, drawstrings, zips, buttons, and other hard or raised features are not trapped beneath the heated platen.

• Test temperature, pressure, dwell time, and transfer settings on a sample garment before production.

• Confirm that the garment fabric and transfers are suitable for heat application.

• Do not touch the platen or other heated surfaces during or immediately after use.
