Description

The Shoe and Trainer Platen is an interchangeable accessory for the High-Performance Pneumatic Twin Platen Heat Press, designed for decorating suitable fabric trainers and sneakers. Measuring 12 x 36 cm, it provides a dedicated pressing surface for applying transfers, logos, names, and other designs to footwear.

The platen is particularly useful for high-top trainers, where the extended shape helps provide improved access along the upper section of the shoe. It can press one pair of shoes at the same time, helping simplify production and maintain consistent positioning across both shoes.

Suitable for selected heat-compatible fabric footwear, this platen is ideal for custom footwear, team trainers, promotional shoes, fashion projects, and personalised high-top designs.

Instructions & Safety Information

Confirm that the footwear material, transfer, adhesive, and finish are suitable for heat application before pressing.
This platen is intended for selected fabric footwear; do not use it on materials that may melt, scorch, shrink, mark, or be damaged by heat or pressure.
Remove laces, loose accessories, and removable inserts before pressing where necessary.
Switch off, cool, and fully depressurise the heat press before fitting or removing the platen.
Ensure the platen is securely installed before operating the machine.
Position both shoes carefully and check that the design area is flat and free from obstructions.
Test temperature, pressure, dwell time, and transfer settings on a sample or inconspicuous area before production.
Do not touch the platen or other heated surfaces during or immediately after use.
Keep hands clear of moving and pressurised components while the heat press is operating.
